One of the biggest complaints of Front Load Washing Machines - Vibration.
The spin cycle in many models exceeds 1200 RPMs and unless you are washing a perfectly even load - very unusual for most of us - the vibration created by the spin cycle sounds and feels like a helicopter landing on your house! At Front Load Toad we have looked for solutions and evaluated products that claim to solve this problem. We back up our results with test data and videos where you can see results yourself.

The product we found that far exceeds the competition is the "Good Vibration Pads" or GVI for short. GVI spent over a year testing and developing all sorts of sizes and materials before landing on the ideal compound of rubber. GVI found a substantial sized pad was necessary to hold up to the weight, friction and vibration of the Front Load Washing Machine. The competitive pads on the market (see picture above for a comparison) are light and small compared to the GVI Pads. Light and small are good for controlling cost and reducing shipping charges...but we found the problem needed an industrial solution.
The GVI pads have been selling now for 2 years and are being used by over 1000 customers across the globe (see the testomonial page for real unsolicited emails).
More on the Test found in the Video
When we first learned of the GVI Pads, we were surprised there wasn't a video made demonstrating the effectiveness of the Pads. We contacted GVI and suggested that they perform a "Youtube" type video showing how their pads reduce the vibration of the front load washing machines. They in turn suggested that we volunteer and helped us by sending their vibration meter that was used when designing the GVI pads. So, we made our own video. Granted...the video is very amateur, but it does get the job done. By watching this video you can clearly see the improvement obtained by using the GVI Pads.
Our laundry floor (where the test was conducted) is on the 1st floor of our home with a basement underneath. The floor joists are 2X6 where the washing machine is sitting. The floor covering is linoleum.
The test used the same load (an even amount of towels) and measured the vibration coming from the Washing machine when:
1) No Pads are installed
2) The GVI Pads are installed
3) A competing product's pads are installed
